ХУДОЖНИК ОЛЬГА АНДРИЯШ

CONTEMPORARY ARTIST

ARTIST’S STATEMENT

My works are a synthesis of painting, photography and digital technology, as well as cyanotype, the use of textiles, analog collage, and video art. Through mixed media I deliberately push the boundaries of my visual language, encapsulating the author’s message in a suitable form.

The creative process begins with a photograph or drawing, followed by analog or digital deconstruction and reconstruction, resulting in multi-layered works of art; where geometry is juxtaposed with biomorphic forms, and distorted human figures and abstractions carry metaphysical content and cultural references.

I have been a practicing body psychotherapist and continue to study the spiritual world and human psychic features in art.A key theme of my research is the processes of self-discovery and personal transformation, those peak states that once experienced, a person can no longer be the same. In my art I strive to emphasize the importance of balance, inspiring the viewer to find a way out even in the most difficult situations.

The dichotomy of existence permeates all my works: I believe that in the contrasts of light and darkness is born the true beauty of life, and that each work can become a bridge between joy and sorrow, allowing you to see the transformation of the deepest experiences, where new meanings and possibilities arise.

I invite you to dive into the depth of the human experience, whatever it may be.
