SILENT JOURNEY
This series explores the very mechanism of perception—how the psyche refracts reality, creating personal worlds.
Using the optics of a monocle and Petzval, I capture not the landscape, but its psychic imprint—what emerges at the boundary of the objective and the subjective. Digital color inversion reveals this underbelly of the visible, transforming the landscape into a precise metaphor for an inner state.
Here, blur becomes the language of memory, and color shifts a cartography of emotions.
This is a journey into those layers of consciousness where the external world and inner experience merge, creating a unique landscape of the soul—at once ghostly and painfully real.
Photographic Imprinting
— Framing a Photograph on Acrylic Glass
Acrylic glass comes in two types: glossy and matte anti-reflective.
Glossy glass adds shine and depth to the image. To describe the imprinting effect of glossy glass without a demonstration, use the following analogy. It’s like taking a colored pebble on the beach and placing it underwater—it immediately becomes brighter.
Matte anti-reflective glass eliminates glare and allows the placement of the imprinting to be independent of light sources. Comparing matte and glossy glass, a photograph imprinted with a glossy imprint is a pure photograph, while a matte imprint is more of an interior object.
Photographs are printed on paper and then hermetically mounted under acrylic glass. This results in additional depth and brightness, and is protected from external influences. An aluminum profile is then glued to the backing, which adds rigidity and is used for wall mounting.
There is also printing directly on glass — this type of printing has a much smaller color gamut and poorer rendering of details.

STONE PRINTING
The print is made using heat transfer on stone with a polished front and back, with artificially chipped edges, making each photo stone unique. The image is glare-free. Stone dimensions: 19×14 and 14×14 cm; thickness: 1 cm. A stand is included for convenient placement on any surface.
